Why an Oak Grove Woodworks gate?
We can help provide you with an attractive and stylish way to keep your child safe, your pets contained or a partner with dementia from falling down the stairs. We offer a variety of designs to match your home's existing décor. Whether you need a safety gate for the top of your stairs, an extra wide baby gate, with a cat door, a gate to mount on your banister, a sliding gate for your hallway, or have a unique space that defies commercial gates, we will work with you to make it happen.
Handcrafted in the USA
We use traditional joinery methods which eliminate the need for nails or screws, and offer a variety of non toxic finishes and styles to match your home. Our wooden stair gates are built out of locally sourced oak or hard maple. We offer mechanical latches for toddlers or dementia patients as well as magnetic latches for pets.
Our Finishes
We offer a wide variety of environmentally safe finishes on all of our gates. On our oak wooden stair gates we primarily use linseed oil and wax. We have several dye options available as well. If you choose we can build your gate out of maple and paint it white. Once you order we will send you samples, so you can best match your existing décor.
