painting charge for single gate

***This is not a gate listing, it's the charge for painting a gate which must be ordered separately.***
We build our gates out of solid oak, but oak has large pores that need to be filled before painting to give it a nice, smooth surface. Instead of using oak for our painted gates, we use hard maple instead, which is a much better wood for painting. This listing is the upcharge for building a single gate out of new, hard maple and painting it with a white lacquer finish. It needs to be purchased along with your gate. We use Sherwin Williams pure white, color #7005. If you would like a custom color, you'll need to order the custom paint color listing, however please check with us first because there are some colors that we can't get in the type of paint that we use.
